You can send your luggage ahead to your hotel near Tokyo Disney Resort straight from the airport. There is no need to drag a suitcase through train transfers.

There are two catches, though. The cut-off for handing your bags over is early — between 9:50 and 14:00, and your luggage will not reach the hotel until the evening. Start by checking whether you can make the cut-off at all.

Information reflects official sources as of August 2026. All prices include tax; opening hours and fares are subject to change.

First check: can you make the cut-off?

Which services you can use depends on your terminal, not just the airport.

The tightest case is Narita Terminal 3. The low-cost carrier terminal has no Sagawa Express or JAL ABC counter, and very few flights land early enough to meet Yamato Transport’s 9:50 cut-off. Haneda Terminal 3, where international flights arrive, likewise has no Sagawa counter, leaving Yamato Transport as the only choice.

At Narita Terminal 1, the Sagawa Express counter is in the North Wing only — if you land in the South Wing you will need to walk over. Yamato Transport has counters in both wings.

If you cannot make the cut-off, carry your bags to Maihama and send them from the station instead. That is covered later on this page.

If you can make the cut-off: which service to use

Cheapest: Sagawa Express

The SAGAWA Hands-Free Travel baggage counters are the cheapest way to link the airport with your hotel. They deliver to hotels in ten Tokyo wards (Shinagawa, Shinjuku, Ota, Shibuya, Chuo, Bunkyo, Chiyoda, Taito, Minato and Koto) and in Urayasu City, and Maihama is included.

From Haneda — counters at Terminal 1, 1F and Terminal 2, 1F. Open 7:00–20:00, same-day cut-off 13:00.

Size (total of 3 sides) Weight Price
Up to 60cm 2kg ¥910
Up to 80cm 5kg ¥1,220
Up to 100cm 10kg ¥1,520
Up to 140cm (a typical suitcase) 20kg ¥2,180
Up to 160cm 30kg ¥2,440

From Narita — counters at Terminal 1 North Wing 1F arrivals lobby and Terminal 2 Main Building 1F arrivals lobby. Open 6:30 until one hour after the last international arrival; same-day cut-off 14:00 with delivery from 16:00.

Size (total of 3 sides) Price
Up to 60cm ¥2,120
Up to 80cm ¥2,430
Up to 100cm ¥2,730
Up to 140cm ¥3,390
Up to 160cm ¥3,650
Up to 180cm ¥4,100
Up to 200cm ¥4,690

From Tokyo Station — the same system works if you arrive by shinkansen. The counter is the service centre on the 1st floor of Tokyo Station Ichibangai (Nihombashi Exit), open 7:00–21:00, with a 13:00 cut-off for hotel delivery and the same prices as Haneda (¥2,180 up to 140cm). It serves hotels across all 23 Tokyo wards and Urayasu City.

The same counters also offer short-term storage: at Haneda ¥800 up to 100cm, ¥1,000 up to 160cm and ¥2,000 above 161cm per item per day; at Narita ¥500 up to 100cm, ¥700 up to 160cm and ¥1,150 up to 200cm; at Tokyo Station ¥1,000 up to 100cm, ¥1,300 up to 140cm, ¥1,500 up to 160cm and ¥2,000 above 161cm. Useful if you land at dawn on a red-eye and have not decided yet.

A flat ¥1,800 with JAL ABC, if your hotel is on the list

JAL ABC’s Hotel Delivery Service charges a flat ¥1,800 one way regardless of size, but only to partner hotels in Maihama and Shin-Urayasu. The bigger your suitcase, the better the deal.

  • Counter: Haneda Terminal 1, domestic arrivals lobby south (1F), open 7:30–20:00 (see location)
  • Drop off 7:30–13:00; bags reach the hotel by 20:00, so you collect them from 20:00
  • No reservation needed; cash only
  • Up to 20kg per item

These 19 hotels are eligible. If yours is not listed, Sagawa Express and Yamato Transport will deliver anywhere in Urayasu City (except private lodgings).

Not available at Terminals 2 and 3: JAL ABC has suspended drop-off and collection for its Hotel Delivery Service at Haneda Terminals 2 and 3. If your international flight arrives at Terminal 3, you cannot use this service.

International terminals: Yamato Transport only

If you land at Haneda Terminal 3 or Narita Terminal 3, Yamato Transport is your only option. It is the most expensive, but it is the one service with a counter in every terminal.

Haneda same-day service (drop off by 11:00, delivered from 18:00 the same day)

Delivery covers hotels in all 23 Tokyo wards, Urayasu, Ichikawa, Funabashi, Narashino, Kawasaki, parts of Yokohama and parts of Chiba City. Prices to Urayasu are as follows.

Size Dimensions Weight To a hotel in Urayasu
60 60cm 2kg ¥2,600
80 80cm 5kg ¥2,890
100 100cm 10kg ¥3,190

Yamato Transport often puts the sending counter on a different floor from the collection counter. When sending bags to your hotel, head for the sending counter.

A full list of counters nationwide is on Yamato Transport’s official page. Note that the collection counter at Haneda Terminal 3 moves to the 1st floor from 30 November 2026 because of renovation work.

From Narita, the same-day cut-off is 10:30 (9:50 at Terminal 3 only). Counters open at 6:30 and close one hour after the last arrival. Prices depend on size and destination, so check at the counter.

If you miss the same-day cut-off, standard delivery is still available (until 18:30 at Haneda Terminals 2 and 3) and arrives the next day at the earliest. On a multi-night stay, you can simply travel light on day one and start using your suitcase from day two.

Your bags arrive in the evening — what to keep with you

This is the part worth remembering. Luggage sent from the airport reaches the hotel between 16:00 and 20:00, so it will not be waiting for you at check-in. In practice it lands in your room about the time you get back from a day in the parks.

Take these out of your suitcase before you hand it over.

  • Things you will use in the parks — rain poncho, power bank, sunscreen, hat
  • Regular medication and contact lenses — you cannot reach them until the evening
  • Anything for young children — nappies, a change of clothes, formula, a favourite soft toy
  • Toiletries and make-up — especially if you plan an early night
  • Clothes for the next morning — insurance against a delayed delivery

Valuables, electronics, liquids and perishables cannot be sent at all. Wallets, phones, passports, laptops and cameras are excluded by every service, so keep them on you.

What you can arrange when booking your flight

If you are flying in, you can hand your bag over at your departure airport and have it taken all the way to the hotel. Unlike everything above, this is arranged when you book, not on arrival.

JAL Same-Day Baggage Delivery

Drop off at departure airport Drop off at JAL ABC, Haneda
Eligibility Passengers on JAL group flights landing at Haneda by 13:00 Anyone arriving at Haneda
Price ¥2,800 per item ¥1,800 per item
Cut-off 45 minutes before departure 12:30 on the day

Delivery covers all 23 Tokyo wards, Urayasu City (around Maihama and Shin-Urayasu stations on the JR Keiyo Line) and selected hotels in Kawasaki. Bags are scheduled to arrive by around 19:00. Suitcases, backpacks and boston bags up to 180cm total and 30kg qualify; paper bags and cardboard boxes do not. You can book from 60 days before departure and pay online by card. Direct flights only — connecting itineraries are not eligible.

ANA Super Speedy Baggage Delivery

Available for flights landing at Haneda by 11:00, at ¥3,500 per item. The delivery zone covers the whole of Chiba Prefecture, so every hotel in Urayasu qualifies. Up to three items per person, each within 200cm total and 30kg. Payment is cash or ANA travel vouchers. If next-day delivery is fine, the standard Speedy Baggage Delivery costs ¥2,500 per item and lets you choose a time slot.

Neither service delivers to private lodgings.

If you miss the cut-off

Afternoon arrivals will simply not make the same-day cut-off. In that case, carry your bags and switch to sending them from Maihama Station. The station is the luggage hub for this area, with its own delivery service to the hotels.

  • Disney Hotels and Official Hotelsfree, from the Welcome Center next to JR Maihama Station
  • Partner Hotels¥800 per item, from the counter on the 1st floor of Bon Voyage

These counters accept bags until 15:00–16:00, far later than the airport services. Full instructions are in How to send your luggage from Maihama Station to your hotel.

The easiest way to carry bags to Maihama is the airport limousine bus, which takes two pieces per person (each within 50 × 60 × 120cm and 30kg) and stops at the hotels themselves.

Route Adult Child
Haneda Airport ⇔ Tokyo Disney Resort area ¥1,300 ¥650
Narita Airport ⇔ Tokyo Disney Resort area ¥2,900 ¥1,450

Do not put cash, valuables, passports or delicate electronics (watches, cameras, laptops) in checked bus luggage. Liability is capped at ¥200,000 per person.

For a comparison of the journey itself, see Getting to Urayasu and Maihama.

Going home: hotel to airport

You can travel light on departure day too. The key point is that “to the airport” and “to Maihama Station” are two different services.

  • Hotel → airport — at the 19 JAL ABC partner hotels, hand your bags to the bell desk by 10:00 and collect them at Haneda Terminal 1 between 16:00 and 20:00 (¥1,800 one way). If you are going via Tokyo Station, Sagawa’s Tokyo Station (Nihombashi Exit) service centre also sends bags to Haneda (11:00 cut-off, ¥2,840 up to 140cm).
  • Hotel → Maihama Station — the Station Delivery Service at Disney Hotels and Official Hotels (drop off 7:00–12:30, ¥800 per item). Use this if you are spending your last day in the parks and collecting the bags at the station. Details are in the luggage storage and baggage delivery guide.

Choose the airport if your flight is in the afternoon, or the station if you are heading into the parks first.

Notes that apply to every service

What cannot be sent: valuables (wallets, phones, passports), fragile items, precision electronics such as laptops and cameras, liquids, and fresh or chilled food are excluded by every service. Carry them with you. Opening hours and prices are subject to change.
  • Private lodgings (Airbnb) are not served. Yamato Transport and ANA both exclude them explicitly, and convenience-store pickup is not available either.
  • Compensation is capped. With Yamato Transport, liability for the suitcase and its contents together is limited to ¥300,000. If a wheel or handle breaks, only the repair cost is covered — not a replacement suitcase.
  • You can also ship bags to the hotel before you arrive. For Disney Hotels, write the name of the lead guest on the booking (in katakana) and the arrival date in the remarks and item-description fields of the delivery slip. Postage is at your expense, and cash-on-delivery shipments may be refused. Bags are held at Guest Services and released on presentation of the delivery slip stub. How far in advance a hotel will accept parcels varies, so check first.

Sending luggage from Haneda or Narita to your Maihama / Urayasu hotel: summary

This page is long, so here is what actually matters.

Three things to remember.

  1. Same-day delivery does exist. Both Haneda and Narita deliver to hotels in Urayasu City.
  2. The cut-off is around midday. As early as 9:50, and never later than 14:00. An afternoon arrival will not make it.
  3. Bags arrive in the evening, between roughly 16:00 and 20:00. Keep whatever you need that day with you.

If you miss the cut-off, carry your bags to Maihama and send them from the station — free for Disney and Official Hotel guests, ¥800 per item for Partner Hotels, with counters open until 15:00–16:00.

Valuables, electronics and liquids cannot be sent by any service, and none of them deliver to private lodgings.

All prices include tax. Hours and fares change, so confirm on each company’s official page on the day.
