Buses can’t enter the station-front rotary at Urayasu Station on the Tozai Line. As a result, bus stops all sharing the same name, Urayasu-eki Iriguchi (浦安駅入口), are scattered around the station in seven locations, and first-time visitors often wonder where they’re supposed to queue. This guide is designed so you can find the right stop from your destination.

  • How to get to Maihama Station and Disney, Shin-Urayasu Station, and the Takasu and Hinode areas

In addition, there is the Urayasu-eki Higashiguchi (浦安駅東口) bus stop (Route 1) on the east side of the station, and the Osampo Bus stop “Urayasu-eki (浦安駅)” near the station. Both are explained in the Osampo Bus and Route 1 section.

Keisei’s official boarding information uses the letters A, B, D and E. The city’s layout map marks the drop-off points as 1, 2 and 3. There’s no need to look for a “C” as a name for the drop-off points. You can check the locations on Keisei’s official bus stop map, and the difference between boarding and drop-off points on the city’s layout map (Town Planning Newsletter No. 5).

Besides the boarding stops, Urayasu-eki Iriguchi also has drop-off-only points. If you wait for your next bus where you got off, it won’t stop there. To board, always move to one of stops A, B, D or E.

Maihama Station & Disney (Routes 2, 4, 6, 9, 12)

Buses from Urayasu-eki Iriguchi to Maihama Station are Routes 2, 4, 6, 9 and 12, split across the four stops A, B, D and E. Route 9, via Horie and Fujimi, costs ¥210 for adults and takes about 20 minutes. Travel time varies by service and road conditions.

How to Get to Stop E

Stop E is on Miyamae-dori, south of the intersection with Yanagi-dori. It’s on a different street from A, B and D on Yanagi-dori, so check its location on the official bus stop map before heading there. The city is working on consolidating Stop E (see below).

Route 2 (Imagawa Line), which runs to Maihama Station via Shin-Urayasu-eki Kitaguchi, also leaves from Stop B, but the fare is ¥280. It takes a longer way around than Route 9 via Horie and Fujimi. Route 37 (Daisankaku Line) from Minami-Gyotoku Station does not stop at Urayasu-eki Iriguchi, so it isn’t included in the boarding information from Urayasu Station.

Shin-Urayasu Station (Routes 1, 2, 3, 5, 11, 18)

Buses to Shin-Urayasu Station are concentrated at Stop B. Every bus that comes to B passes through Shin-Urayasu Station, whatever its final destination, so if you just need to get to Shin-Urayasu Station, queuing at B is the safe choice.

Route Stop Via Final destination
2 Imagawa Line B Shinmei-ura (神明裏), Shobo Honbu-mae (消防本部前) Maihama Station via Shin-Urayasu-eki Kitaguchi
3 Urayasu Higashi Danchi Line B Shin-Urayasu Station, Akemi 5-chome (明海五丁目) Sogo Koen

If you have business in the Horie or Higashino area, Route 5 from Stop E is convenient.

Takasu, Hinode & Sogo Koen (Routes 3, 11, 18)

Buses beyond Shin-Urayasu Station to the Takasu, Hinode and Akemi areas also leave from Stop B. Route 3 goes to Sogo Koen via Akemi 5-chome, Route 11 goes to Sogo Koen and Hinode-minami via Symbol Road and Bay Park, and Route 18 goes to Takasu Kaihin Koen via Takasu-bashi. Check the official timetable for the routes and services that stop at your destination.

Route 11 to Hinode-minami is a year-round route that goes to the nearest stop for Urayasu City Cemetery Park (浦安市墓地公園). It’s separate from the free shuttle bus that runs at Obon and Higan, so you can use it to visit graves at any time of year.

Osampo Bus and Route 1 (Tokyo Bay Medical Center)

Osampo Bus “Urayasu-eki” Stop

The Medical Center Line of the city’s community bus, the Osampo Bus, links Tokyo Bay Urayasu Ichikawa Medical Center with Shin-Urayasu Station, stopping at Urayasu Station on the way. Its stop is in a different place from the local buses’ Urayasu-eki Iriguchi. According to the Cultural Hall’s official directions, go from the ticket gates under the elevated tracks, turn left without crossing the crosswalk, and cross the scramble intersection toward the Sukiya restaurant. Walk past the restaurant and, without crossing at the first crosswalk, keep left to reach the stop for buses to Shin-Urayasu Station. For the stop for buses to Tokyo Bay Medical Center, check the city’s bus stop map. The fare is a flat ¥100. For route and fare details, see Urayasu City’s official Osampo Bus page.

Urayasu-eki Higashiguchi Stop (Route 1, Kitazakae Line)

Route 1 boards at Urayasu-eki Higashiguchi, and the official timetable shows the stop as 02. Buses to Shin-Urayasu Station run either via Kitazakae 2-chome and Mihama Chugakko or via Tokyo Bay Medical Center. If you’re going to the medical center, choose a bus marked “医療” (medical) on the timetable. Some buses are bound for Urayasu-eki Iriguchi, so check the destination too. This is a separate stop from Urayasu-eki Iriguchi A, B, D and E.

Getting Off the Bus and Walking to the Station

Buses bound for Urayasu-eki Iriguchi use drop-off points separate from the boarding stops. The city’s layout map shows three drop-off points, 1, 2 and 3: 1 is near A and B on the south side of Yanagi-dori, 2 is west of D on the south side of Yanagi-dori, and 3 is roughly opposite D on the north side of Yanagi-dori. Depending on where you get off, use the pedestrian bridge or a crosswalk and follow the signs for Urayasu Station.

When returning from Maihama Station to Urayasu-eki Iriguchi, take Route 9 bound for Urayasu-eki Iriguchi. The stops on the Maihama Station side are covered in the Maihama Station bus stop guide. Route 6 also goes to Urayasu-eki Iriguchi via City Hall. Route 37 to Minami-Gyotoku Station does not pass through Urayasu-eki Iriguchi.

Free Cemetery Park Shuttle Bus (Obon & Higan)

At Obon and Higan, the city sometimes runs free temporary shuttle buses linking Urayasu Station and Shin-Urayasu Station with the Cemetery Park. At Obon in 2026, the Urayasu Station pick-up point was in front of Sakazen (サカゼン), and the drop-off point on the return trip was in a different place. Pick-up points and times may change each time the service runs, so check the latest information on Urayasu City’s official website.

Late-Night Buses

Route 9 has late-night buses, which leave from Stop E. Late-night buses don’t go all the way to Maihama Station; they terminate on the way at Keisei Rose Town, and the fare is double the regular fare. Check times on the operator’s timetable.

Planned Consolidation of Stop E

In the Urayasu Station Area Town Planning Newsletter No. 5 (December 2025), Urayasu City announced a plan to first consolidate Stop E on Miyamae-dori onto city-owned land in the block south of Yanagi-dori. For the timing of the move and specific construction details, check the city’s latest information.

Bus stop assignments can change with timetable revisions. This guide reflects information as of September 2026. Before you set out, check the latest layout on Keiseibus Chiba West’s stop map.
