“Where do I put my suitcases before check-in, and can someone carry them to my hotel?” is one of the most common questions overseas visitors ask before a Tokyo Disney Resort trip. Around Maihama and Urayasu the answer depends on which direction you’re moving your bags and which category your hotel is. This guide sorts it out. Details are from our 2025–2026 research against official sources — always reconfirm on your hotel’s official site before you travel.

The Maihama luggage hub: JR Maihama Station

Most of the area’s baggage services run through JR Maihama Station, the gateway station for the parks. Just outside the south exit is the Tokyo Disney Resort Welcome Center, and the Disney store “Bon Voyage” next to the station houses a home-delivery counter. What you pay — and whether it’s even offered — depends on the direction and your hotel category.

Free station-to-hotel delivery (Disney & Official hotels)

If you stay at a Disney Hotel or an Official Hotel, you can arrive light. At the Welcome Center Hotel Service Counter beside JR Maihama Station, hand over your bags and they are delivered to your hotel free of charge:

This is one of the quiet perks of the Official-hotel tier: drop the bags at the station and head straight into your day.

Note: the Celebration Hotels are the exception among Disney-run hotels — they can’t use this free counter or the Station Delivery service. Instead, guests there use the paid Bon Voyage counter by the station (fee unpublished — confirm locally). The Welcome Center also does not offer plain walk-up luggage storage, and there is no delivery from inside the parks.

Guests at Partner Hotels and other independent hotels near Maihama use the paid “Bon Voyage” home-delivery counter by JR Maihama Station instead: about ¥800 per item, reception from store opening until around 15:00, one-way from the station to the hotel. Hotels that use this route include Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay and Urayasu Brighton Hotel Tokyo Bay.

Departure day: hotel-to-station “Station Delivery”

Going the other way, the Station Delivery service lets you drop your bags at the hotel after check-out and pick them up at the Welcome Center 1st-floor counter (roughly 13:00–21:00) on your way to the station. It is a paid service at ¥800 per item — listed by the Disney Hotels, Hilton Tokyo Bay, Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay, Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort and Maihama View Hotel; a few hotels don’t publish the price, so confirm at the bell desk.

Just need to leave bags at the hotel? Storage before check-in

You don’t always need a delivery service. Almost every hotel will simply hold your luggage before check-in and after check-out on the day of your stay — usually free at the bell or front desk. A few make it especially easy:

  • Hotel Dream Gate Maihama — free guest-only lockers and a self-service cloak room, usable from the morning of your stay and after check-out
  • HOTEL MYSTAYS Maihama — free coin lockers (a ¥100 refundable type) plus front-desk storage
  • The Disney Hotels — same-day storage from 6:00 at the bell desk or Guest Service counter; keep your claim tag until 24:00 on check-out day
  • Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort — free guest-only lockers (7:00–22:00)
  • Hoshino Resorts 1955 Tokyo Bay — free lockers before and after your stay, plus pre-check-in so you only pick up the key later
  • Comfort Suites Tokyo Bay — free self-service cloak room before check-in and after check-out
  • Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay — a guest-only baggage/locker room, with before- and after-stay storage at the bell desk
About luggage information: Counters, hours and fees change and vary by hotel category. Confirm the current details on your hotel's official website — and note that price/size limits for before-check-in storage are often not published, so ask when you book.
